KYC & AML

We know who we lease to, and where the hardware comes from.

Every counterparty is verified before we sign, every piece of equipment is checked for title and encumbrances before we pay for it, and every payment is matched to a contract. This is how we protect our lessees, our funding partners and ourselves.

I

Know your counterparty

Applies to every lessee, seller, lessor and portfolio counterparty, before a term sheet is issued.

  • Company registry extract and good standing, issued within 3 months
  • Ultimate beneficial owners to 25 % and above, with ID and proof of address
  • Directors and authorised signatories verified
  • AML screening: sanctions (OFAC, EU, UK, UN), PEP and adverse media on the company and its UBOs
  • Source of funds for the first payment and the business rationale of the deal
II

Know your equipment

Applies to every buy-out, sale-and-leaseback and every unit we take over in a restructuring.

  • Proof of title: purchase invoices, vendor records, prior lease or finance agreements
  • Lien and encumbrance search where a registry exists (UCC, national pledge registers)
  • Serial-level inventory reconciled against the documents
  • Physical inspection and photo record before payment
  • Export-control and sanctions check on GPU and high-performance compute
III

Know the transaction

Applies to every payment in and out for the life of the contract.

  • Every payment matched to a schedule, invoice or settlement agreement
  • Payments only to and from accounts in the counterparty's own name
  • No cash, no crypto, no third-party payers
  • Ongoing monitoring; refreshed KYC at renewal, assignment or change of control
  • Records kept for the period required by applicable law
Onboarding

Five steps before the first payment

Most counterparties clear onboarding in two to five business days. The documents we ask for are the ones any lender would ask for; we simply ask for them once, up front.

01

Request

Equipment list or contract, counterparty name and jurisdiction.

02

Documents

Corporate documents, UBO identification, proof of title for equipment.

03

Screening

Sanctions, PEP and adverse-media checks; lien search on the equipment.

04

Approval

Internal sign-off; term sheet issued with the approved structure.

05

Contract & payment

Signed agreement, verified bank details, first payment to or from a named account.
