About

Operators first, financiers second.

Assets Matters was set up by a team with close to thirty years of combined experience in international hosting, cloud infrastructure, finance and law. We have built and run data center capacity in Europe and the United States, financed hardware for our own operations, and resolved more than one lease that had gone wrong. The company exists to do the same for others.

I

Hosting & colocation

Operating racks and networks in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and the US since the late 1990s. We know what a server is worth because we buy, run and retire them ourselves.

II

Cloud & infrastructure

Building and migrating platforms for hosting providers and SaaS teams; capacity planning, hardware lifecycle and refresh cycles.

III

Finance

Structuring equipment leases, sale-and-leasebacks and portfolio transfers; residual-value modelling; working with lenders and lessors on both sides of the table.

IV

Legal

Commercial contracts, security over equipment, cross-border enforcement and workouts in the US, EU and UAE, with local counsel where the equipment sits.

How we are set up

A US company with its feet in European and Gulf data centers

Assets Matters LLC

A Delaware limited liability company. Registered office in Wilmington, Delaware. Contracts under US, EU or UAE law, depending on where the equipment is installed.

Footprint

Partner infrastructure and crews in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Dubai; equipment delivered to, collected from and stored at these locations.

Own capital

Deals are funded from the company's own capital and from partner lessors. We do not take deposits and do not offer consumer finance.

Compliance

KYC and AML on every counterparty and every unit of equipment. See KYC & AML and Legal & Regulatory.

What we believe

Three convictions behind every deal

Hardware has a second life

Three-year-old servers are inventory, not e-waste. Pricing for the next life is what makes the numbers work for lessees and lessors alike.

Documents before trucks

Most problems are solved on paper. We move equipment only when the agreement says so and every party has signed.

Verification is not optional

We would rather lose a deal than skip a check. It keeps our funding partners comfortable and our lessees safe.
